Cozy In-Home Newborn Session

I've known this family since BEFORE they had an children, and now they have 2! Two boys, only 20 months apart, ready to become best friends for life. We've captured both pregnancies and both newborn pictures and hopefully many many milestones to come!

It's fun to do a combination of lifestyle and posed newborn photos during an in-home session. If baby is sleepy, it's easier to get the posed shots and when baby is awake, it's nicer to get the family shots and have someone holding baby at all times to keep baby happy.

I usually change the baby's clothes or wrap and rewrap them several times because I like variety. I get mom shots, dad shots, sibling shots and whole family shots. And dog/cat/bird shots if there is a cooperative pet at home! Don't worry, I bring all the wraps and outfits and onesies and hats and bonnets and leg warmers and headbands and flower crowns and anything we may need in the cute department. I like to keep things simple for the most part, so as to keep the baby as the central focus of the photos.
