Extended Family Studio Session, McKinney TX

This family was coming together for Christmas and only had ONE DAY that they could take pics. We planned to be outside, but then, an "icy blast" came in and made everything unbarably cold! So Lemon Drop Studio to the rescue. They sweet decorations made for a gorgeous session. This session took place near downtown McKinney in a photography studio rental space. I'm not a big studio fan, but this little gem is perfect for cold and windy days here in Texas.

Being originally from Colorado, I'm used to snow and colder temperatures, but I will tell you Texas is the coldest and hottest place I've ever lived. It's got the most extreme weather I've experienced, but it also has the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. I would love to live in a house that had a clear horizon, a view of the sunrise and the sunset each day from my porch.
