Metal is durable, light and inexpensive. You can choose a matte or glossy finish too! I especially love this option for college kids & older folks. MPIX is great for this, there are many options nowadays.

Porcelain is beautiful for certain photos. It’s high gloss and about 1/4 inch thick. You can order this from MPIX.com in all different sizes!

Wood is probably my favorite medium. There are 2 companies that I have used that I love that offer printing on wood, but look very different. Pretty in PolkaDots is a framed wood print shop like the middle photo above. MPIX is my recommendation for printing on block wood with no frame. I love them both.
